Jacob and Amy are Living on a Spare (our team name) to Strike a Difference for FUSE.
FUSE is a local non-profit that Amy co-founded in 1996 that provides information, resources and support to families and individuals with disabilities or mental health needs.When families first learn that their child has a disability or a mental health care need, they often don’t know where to turn. As those children grow into adulthood, services and supports change, and families need to learn how to navigate new systems and services. FUSE acts as a guide with individuals and families to information and resources that help them meet their individualized needs and live a fulfilling life in their community. That is exactly what FUSE has done for us. They have helped us navigate the systems and get Jacob the services and supports he needs to be successful.
